Attorney Lou Barkholtz is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and Board Certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in Civil Trial Law. He accepts cases nationwide in both state and federal courts.

Lou is a licensed aircraft pilot. Further, since 1969 he has been licensed by the FAA as an airframe and power plant mechanic (aircraft mechanic). He has worked as an airline, corporate and general aviation mechanic.Lou combines his intricate law knowledge and litigation skills with a vast and thorough understanding of airplanes, including commercial, corporate and general aviation aircraft. His experience ranges from the largest airline aircraft to private single engine aircraft.

Concentrating in aviation litigation, Lou represents persons who have sustained serious personal injury in an airplane crash and persons who have lost a family member due to an airplane crash as the result of pilot error, mechanic error, product liability or controller error.
